The 2020 Biometric Technology Rally Results are now available!
2020 BIOMETRIC TECHNOLOGY RALLY
The 2020 Biometric Technology Rally creates a new technical challenge for industry: reliably identifying small, free-flowing
groups of individuals in crowded environments, like airports or ports of entry. This event will consist of an initial individual
processing phase, as well as an advanced group-processing phase. Technology providers will have to demonstrate strong
performance in the individual processing phase to qualify for the group-processing phase. As in 2019, data collected during
scenario testing will be used to assess the performance and interoperability of matching algorithms.
HOW TO APPLY
Application package requirements are detailed in the 2020 Rally Overview Slides. More information to be provided in the technical webinar on 04/07/2020. To RSVP to the technical webinar, please send an email to peoplescreening@hq.dhs.gov.
Once your application package is ready, click ‘Submit Application’ below to initialize your application package e-mail. Please ensure to attach the following to your application e-mail:
- A whitepaper (5 pages or less, pdf format)
- A video (2 minutes or less, < 10 MB)
